Welcome to the site of the UMBC Undergraduate Council, a committee of the Faculty Senate. The Undergraduate Council is responsible for course designations and maintaining the schedule of classes across departments.

All meetings will be held from 11:30 – 12:45.

Faculty Senate Meeting dates: (Please note that courses must pass through Faculty Senate for final approval after the Undergraduate Council approves the course.  Courses will be presented to the Faculty Senate one week before the senate meeting.  If the course has not been approved before this date, it will be placed on the next month’s Faculty Senate agenda.)

* For classes to be offered in the Spring 2023 Schedule of Classes, requests should be received by 09/03/2023 (for the 09/17/20 meeting).
